WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Mel,

I enjoyed it! Very informative. The context of what was going on in Europe really put things in perspective. Would love to see parallel timelines of whats going on in Europe and the Pacific and how they merge at certain points!

Embracing the history of my Samoan and Pacific culture is not just a responsibility; it is a sacred journey that connects me to the very essence of my ancestral DNA. In learning and preserving our heritage, I honor the resilience, wisdom, and spirit of those who came before me, ensuring that their legacy continues to thrive within me and generations to come.

Janeane,
Monash University
I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to you for your session with the Monash university students and staff yesterday morning.
Your ability to synthesize such a long history with complex aspects in such an accessible way for the students (and your engaging presentation skills) was really well received.

Loved this class! Learned so much and it really helped to broaden my perspectives on the way we view being Samoan. I also loved the connection between religion and culture through the Christian Missions course. I learned that even though there are a lot of us in culture that fall under the Polynesian umbrella, the perspective is not the same as that of a Samoan person versus that of a Hawaiian person. Must take these courses!
